W/c 31st March 2008: The Weekend

Well, another midweek disaster. Two accumulators...two down. Barca, Dundee, Arsenal and Munich then Munich, Fiorentina, Sporting/Rangers draw and Aldershot was the selections. So onto the weekend......

EPL

Ok, the gimmies should be Man Utd and Chelsea. Blackburn look attractive to keep Spurs indifferent run going. A wee North East double wie Newcastle and Sunderland both looking good for victories. Long shot? Birmingham to beat Wigan.

Championship

Ipswich to beat Colchester. Sheff Wed to beat Scunthrope. Long shot? Coventry to draw at Watford.

League one

Southend to beat Crewe. Leeds to beat Orient. Long shot? Port Vale to beat Brighton.

League Two

Macclesfield to beat Wrexham. Bury to beat Notts County. Rochdale to beat Grimsby.

SPL

Celtic and Hearts.

1st Division

QOS to beat Stirling. And at a push Partick to beat Dunfermline.

2nd Division

Raith to beat Ayr. Brechin to beat Airdrie Utd.

3rd Division

Elgin to beat East Stirling. Stranaer to beat Stenhousemuir.

FA Cup

Pompey and Cardiff.

W/c 31st March 2008: Midweek Games

After a terrible start to the blog- told you I was terrible- we have a midweek full of games to allow us to, again, fill the bookies pockets.

So let us begin:

Champs League:

Roma haven't lost at home in the CL this season. I can't see Man Utd getting a result draw looks interesting but...I think the Italians will take a lead to Manchester. Barca need to save their season and a victory against Schalke will ensure they are still in the hunt for silverware. Arsenal will snatch a lead against Liverpool and Fenerbahce will shock Chelsea and continue their winning streak at home this season.

Championship Div 1:

Carlise to continue their unbeaten run against the faltering Notts Forest.

Scottish Div 1:

Dundee should have to much for Partick Thistle and QOS and Livi should be happy with a draw.

UEFA Cup:

All home wins, with Rangers and Munich looking decent value.

What do you think?
